Without installing any additional software, the default free installation with the sample chart data is designed to demonstrate techniques for displaying information and content and to set up sailing routes on top of chart cell surveys. It is a virtual sampler of some of the different tools and techniques made possible by the Capella system. Since our goal is to show you ways to use the system, we have included all normal functions except GPS and AIS connections.
Software has been developed based on Microsofts C/C++/MFC libraries in a Visual Studio environment. A number of classes have been implemented to declare and define functions and procedures to handle importent tasks such as projections, I/O to/from datacells, graphics and user interfacing.
